We use paypal as our processor for all donation transactions. You do not need an account with paypal to make a donation to the Met-Monkey cause. Met-Monkey is a strong, friendly and vibrant community which becomes stronger each year. Every year the cost of running the site increases, due to the increase in popularity of the site and the demand on the server. We have been running now for almost 3 years, during the period the following costs have been incurred:

• Forum Software Renewal Yearly = £10.00
• Forum Hosting Since June 2006 = £200.00
• SEO Software Optimum Search Engine Renewal = £20.00
• Initial Start-up Admin Cost = £70.00
• Upgrade Costs = £70.00

As you can see, it all adds up over time. We don't expect donations, the time and effort put into providing a community that has become so successful and close is the main achievement.

Our goal is to cover the running costs associated with operating a major and growing forum on a reliable server. These costs are inclusive of domain registration, hosting and product licensing renewal. Time given on the forum is of course given freely and through passion.
